Can a Kayalite be mounted or reassembled onto a pole?

There is no one particular height optimal for all applications and conditions.
For example, a sea kayak paddler may be interested in how a light can reasonably be expected to manage a roll or survive through rough conditions. A sit-on-top (SOT) fisherman at anchor, intent on minimizing the wake of passing powerboats, may seek a taller solution, one that provides maximum visibility across the arc of the horizon — even during daylight.
