Can I mount a Kayalite on a gear track?

(continued)For narrow gear tracks having a width of under 1.5 inch (4 cm), we have developed a DIY solution using 1 or 2 ordinary CD-ROM discs that provides a stable mounting surface on the gear track for a Kayalite or Kayacam.


This DIY solution is an option for users willing to take the extra step of integrating CD-ROM disc(s). We think it is a worthwhile step, enabling the Kayalite or Kayacam to remain entirely portable, clipped to the Track Mount Eye and pulled into tension with the gear track, and unclipped for fast, easy removal.
