Can I mount a Kayalite on a gear track?

(continued)The assembly diagram below shows how the Track Mount Eye is reassembled to inlclude a CD-ROM.


While we recommend creating a platform using two CD-ROM discs, only one CD-ROM disc is required.

For the initial assembly (whether using 1 or 2 CD-ROMs) insert a single CD-ROM in the Track Mount Eye, slip it on a gear track, and tighten the assembly down. This step will press the clear washer into the hole of the CD-ROM.

Once the washer has been successfully inserted, you can unscrew the Track Mount Eye, insert a second CD-ROM, and tighten this assembly down to the gear track to press the two CD-ROMs together, with the washer centered in the hole.


Once assembled for the first time as directed above, this platform assembly can be easily slipped on and off the gear track without having to completely unscrew it.

The platform assembly must be loaded from either end of a gear track, not top-loaded.
